"Triumph of the Return" - On September 4, 2003, in a large ceremony, the Israeli Air Force flew three f-15 jets over the Auschwitz concentration camp in a show of the Jewish people's continued strength and triumph over past adversities.
This visit was a testament to the world that the saying "never again" is not just a slogan. Many of the participants were the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors.

When Holocaust survivor Adolek Kohn returned to Auschwitz with family members, they danced to the Gloria Gaynor song I Will Survive and posted the video on Youtube. "It is meant as a celebration of life and survival," Ms Korman declared in an interview. "I wanted to make artwork that creates a fresh interpretation of history."

In Israel, on 10 A.M on the Holocaust Memorial day a two minute siren blares throughout the streets. Men, women, children, adults, Arabs and Jews, are expected to solemnly reflect.
